No, but we did cash in all of our United miles and we did stay at a Holiday Inn, where we actually had a Caddyshack “Doodie in the pool moment.”

Today I had my very first parent-teacher conference. I really was not sure what to expect as I still feel too young too actually have to sign up for parent-teacher conferences. But all in all it went well. Until his teacher said those magic words:

As we watched Obama’s speech this afternoon (me for the third time, G for the first time since he finally had to go to bed at 10:30 last night) he turned to me and asked,
